Yesterday we went to the doctor and they ruptured my membrane. She said that if this works it should cause me to go into labor in 24-48 hrs. 24 hrs down, 24 to go. I had a lot of contractions yesterday and some today, but nothing painful enough yet. I'm just praying that these contractions start getting really regular and painful as soon as possible. I just might go crazy if she doesn't get here soon. Since they were supposed to rupture my membrane on Tuesday, I worked really hard to have everything ready by then. Now that she's still not here I'm going crazy doing every little project possible around the house. I'm going to run out of things to keep me busy pretty soon.
I've been doing a lot of walking and the other most common suggestion (wink, wink). If any of you have other ideas please post a comment and let me know! I'll do anything.

tried them ALL! nothing works! sorry! and just so you know, they didn't "rupture" your membranes - that is breaking your water! She "stripped" them. can't wait to meet her!

Gonna have to 2nd what she said. I did it all..twice. Never helped..I even bounched on a ball drinking some magical rasberry tea (after being stripped, 2 times)...and still not luck:) She will come when she is ready!
